DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• PhD in a computational discipline, interpreted broadly, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience with advanced methods in statistics, machine learning, AI, and decision science, or ability to learn them swiftly.
• Experience with R and Python, or one of these programming languages and the ability to learn the other swiftly.
• Experience with PHI/PII health data.
• Experience collaborating with computational and health scientists to evaluate, apply, and improve statistical analyses.
• Background in statistics applicable to health research.
• Familiarity with public health, health policy, or biomedical research.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to create precise documentation.
• Ability to develop project plans and complete projects by a set deadline.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
• Expertise in designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications.
• Proficiency with application design and data modeling.
• Ability to define and solve logical problems for highly technical applications.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical clients.
• Ability to lead activities on structured team development projects.
• Ability to select, adapt, and effectively use a variety of programming methods.
• Knowledge of application domain.
