To be Successful in this position, you will bring:
- Working knowledge of a large format solvent printer, vinyl plotter, engraver, and each machine’s accompanying software.
- Have basic knowledge of maintenance and cleaning of Sign Shop equipment.
- Experience with estimating sign work when the Lead Sign Technician is unavailable.
- Knowledge of the materials, tools and techniques used in the sign industry
- Knowledge of Large format printers, vinyl plotter, and engraver and accompanying software.
- Knowledge of various graphic file types and the advantages and disadvantages of each.
- Knowledge of Graphic design concepts applicable to the signage industry.
Experience in the following areas is required:
- Weeding and taping cut vinyl graphics.
- Applying cut vinyl and printed graphics to substrates common in the sign industry.
- Installing cut vinyl and printed graphics on site and on vehicles.
- Graphic removals from vehicles, glass, and other surfaces.
The schedule:
Full time [100% FTE] 40 hours a week
Monday Through Friday starting at 7:00AM to 3:30PM
We have a high peak season and it will require overtime with weekend work.
