To be successful in this position, you will need:
- Advanced degree and five years of relevant experience in area of specialization or combination of relevant education, training, and/or experience. Experience managing a budget and developing financial plans.
- Experience developing program partnerships and funding sources.
- Ability to develop program partnerships and funding sources.
- Advanced oral, written and analytical skills exhibiting fluency in area of specialization.
- Ability to oversee and direct staff.
- Ability to manage budgets and develop financial plans.
Preferred Experience and Competencies
- Advanced degree (PhD, JD) related to environmental and climate justice (ECJ) or traditional environmental knowledge (TEK); and experience conducting engaged research in related scholarly areas.
- Global ECJ research and partnership experience.
- Experience leading teams, managing organizations, and working within higher education administration.
- Demonstrated ability to work across organizations to accomplish measurable results towards organizational goals
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain productive working relationships with faculty in a university setting.
- Proactive communicator with excellent written, visual, and oral communication skills.
- Flexible, open-minded, and collaborative mindset with ability to navigate an ambiguous environment.

The expected pay range for this position is $139,741 to $200,000 per annum.
