DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Approximately one year of previous laboratory experience in molecular and/or cellular biology is required. Basic technical writing beneficial but not required.
Must be capable of and willing to pay strict attention to detail, including following written and oral instruction.
Familiarity with the following experimental techniques preferred:
- SDS-PAGE
- Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
- Multiplexe Ion Bean Imaging (MIBI) staining
- Lyophilization process
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Three year’s employment experience in laboratory work or a combination of equivalent education and relevant work experience/training (e.g., one year of college science).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
Work requires the ability to follow detailed instructions and keep accurate records.
Must be detail-oriented and able to keep accurate records of experiments.
General understanding of scientific principles.
General computer skills and ability to quickly learn.
Ability to work under deadlines with general guidance.
Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to accurately complete detailed work.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat, grasp lightly, use fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, perform desk-based computer tasks, use telephone, write by hand.
- Ability to stand and move on hard surfaces for up to eight hours.
- Occasionally lift and handle materials up to 10 pounds
- Rarely carry/pull and/or push up to 20 pounds
- Must have correctible vision to perform duties of the job.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work occurs in a research laboratory environment. Depending on research, may work in the vicinity of animals, chemicals, gasses, or hazardous materials. Expected to follow all safety requirements and procedures including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) if required.
This position may have a flexible work location, with the possible ability to be either co-located near the Stanford campusin Palo Alto, CA as a hybrid worker.
