Bachelor‘s degree in related scientific field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- General understanding of
scientific principles.
- General computer skills
and ability to quickly learn and master computer programs, databases and
scientific applications.
- Ability to work under deadlines
with general guidance.
- Excellent organizational
skills and demonstrated ability to complete detailed work accurately.
- Ability to work as part
of a close research team including faculty and senior research staff.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity
with analysis of foliar and soil samples using extraction and chemical analyses
techniques.
- Experience
in archival of biological samples is desirable.
- Experience in ecological
or environmental measurements, including field methods.
- Must be available for
occasional domestic travel to conduct field work.
