Education & Experience:

Bachelor‘s degree in related scientific field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

General understanding of scientific principles.
General computer skills and ability to quickly learn and master computer programs, databases and scientific applications.
Ability to work under deadlines with general guidance.
Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to complete detailed work accurately.
Ability to work as part of a close research team including faculty and senior research staff.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Familiarity with analysis of foliar and soil samples using extraction and chemical analyses techniques.
Experience in archival of biological samples is desirable.
Experience in ecological or environmental measurements, including field methods.
Must be available for occasional domestic travel to conduct field work.
