To be successful in this role, you will bring:
● Bachelor's degree in related scientific field and two years of relevant work experience; or Master’s degree in a related scientific field.
● Advanced computer skills and demonstrated success in following through and completing projects.
● Ability to maintain cultures and genetically engineer non-model microorganisms.
● Experience in molecular biology techniques and application for metabolic engineering.
● Wide understanding of microbial metabolism, in particular single-carbon utilization.
● Strong publication record relevant to this field.
In addition, preferred requirements include:
● PhD in related field
● Expertise in metabolic modelling and in-silico strain design.
● Expertise in design, construction and use of bioreactors.
