The cover letter should address your qualifications including: demonstrated excellence in teaching, especially first year students; relevant research and teaching related to classes in the COLLEGE curriculum, including any evidence of intellectual flexibility to teach in an interdisciplinary general education curriculum; an indication of what other classes you would be prepared to teach. In addition, please include in your application a CV, research and teaching statements, and a sample of written work; please also arrange to send three letters of recommendation, at least one of which speaks to your teaching.
The salary range for this position is $84-86K for 2023-24. Stanford University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the qualifications of the selected candidate, budget availability, and internal equity. Please note that relocation and housing support are not available for this position, and only applicants who have permission to work in the U.S. are eligible.
