MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and five years relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and workflow.
- Experience with enterprise applications and understanding of database driven applications.
- Strong understanding of financial data in a large, complex environment or providing consultation to similar organizations.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Knowledge of principles and techniques used in conducting systems analysis.
- Ability to document complex business systems.
- Proven problem solving and analytical thinking and ability to approach problems logically and systematically.
- Skill in conducting interviews.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to balance time-sensitive operational deadlines with progress on longer-term enhancements and projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to bridge functional and technical resources by communicating effectively with individuals of varying systems expertise and business needs.
- Listening, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to maintain good customer relations with clients and external vendors and partners.
- Demonstrated tact, diplomacy, sound judgment and sensitivity to handling of confidential data.
- Experience at Stanford University and/or PeopleSoft HRMS and Oracle HCM is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently sitting.
- Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, use a telephone, writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
- Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.
