To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor’s degree and five or more years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, follow-through, critical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail. Ability to learn and apply general human resources policies using problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively handle highly sensitive and personal information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with various departments.
Very strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Familiarity with human resource management systems, such as PeopleSoft and time/leave systems. Experience using email and the internet.
Previous Stanford HR Operations experience a strong plus.
The expected pay range for this position is $88,222 to $93,500 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage the university reasonably expects to pay for a position upon hire. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs. At Stanford University, base pay represents only one aspect of the comprehensive rewards package.
