What You’ll Bring:

Education & Experience
Associate degree and four years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experiences. Bachelor’s degree desired.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to interpret and explain HR policies and procedures to diverse populations, including the technical and administrative features of benefits and leave programs, as well as workers’ compensation claims.
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing programs and/or projects.
- Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills, understanding of group dynamics and successful track record for establishing credibility and trust with a diverse client group.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively handle highly sensitive and personal information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion.
- Ability to work independently, consistently follow through with projects and assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to independently draft effective correspondence and documentation.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Google Drive, and Smartsheet. Demonstrated proficiency with business applications and human resource information systems, such as PeopleSoft and time/leave systems (Axess). Experience using email and internet.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a college environment preferred.
- SHRM / HRCI certification a plus, but not required.
