To be successful in this position, you will need:
- High school diploma and four years of administrative experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Advanced computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.
- Demonstrated success in following through and completing projects.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and assign work to others.
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects.
- Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
In addition, our preferred qualifications include:
- College degree in communications, public health, sustainability, environmental science, or another related interdisciplinary field.
- Communications, event planning, marketing, and/or outreach work experience, ideally in an academic or mission-driven environment (e.g. NGO).
- Experience maintaining a website.
- Administrative and program coordination experience, ideally in a small and fast-paced team.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with individuals across different levels of the organization, including faculty, administrators, and students.
- Design experience, ideally with Canva.

The expected pay range for this position is $39.46 to $44.30 per hour.
