MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:
High school diploma and three years of administrative experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software, email application, web resources, and donor management databases.
- Demonstrated success in following through and completing routine tasks.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to answer multi-line phones and to greet guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner; must have excellent communication skills.
- Ability to function well under pressure and work with the public under occasionally challenging circumstances.
- Detail-oriented, with demonstrated ability to see tasks through to completion and ability to handle multiple tasks consecutively with frequent interruption.
- Ability to handle and carry out emergency procedures.
- Must always maintain a neat and professional appearance; appropriate business attire is required.
- Experience with Stanford University systems and software platforms a plus.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit or stand at the reception desk for long periods of the day
- Ability to perform job in a brightly lit work area
- Must be able to regularly lift, move, and carry items up to 30 pounds.
