MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or four years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of and ability to use one or more geospatial software programs such as CAD, GIS, databases, and geospatial data processing engines.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans and drawings and advise architects, engineers, and construction personnel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users with a wide range of language skills and from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to complete moderately advanced mathematical or statistical calculations.
- Ability to plan effectively and to manage/supervise projects and work queues if leading others.
- Proficiency in industry standards and/or regulatory requirements.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Must possess and maintain a valid California Non-commercial Class C Driver’s License
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a California Non-commercial Class C Driver’s License.
- Frequently standing and walking up to 5 miles a day with bending, squatting, climbing, and carrying.
- Occasionally sit, perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Occasionally lift/carry/push/pull items up to 50lbs.
- Kneel/crawl, climb (ladders, scaffolds, or other).

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Occasionally work evenings and weekends.
- May perform work outside in variable weather conditions.
- Work week will consist of approximately 60% field work and 40% office work.
- May be exposed to high voltage electricity, radiation or electromagnetic fields, noise >80db, allergens/ biohazards/ chemicals/ asbestos.
- Often work on active construction sites in proximity to heavy machinery and hazards including entering safe trenches.
