To be successful in this position:
Associates degree and one year of
relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
Strong written and verbal
communication skills.
Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office
Suite. Experience creating excel reports and knowledge of design software
and web-based applications highly desired.
Customer service skills and interpersonal
skills.
Basic office administration skills.
Ability to learn compliance with legal, financial, and university
policies and external regulations.
Strong organizational skills and
attention to detail.
Ability
to work collaboratively as a team member.
Ability
to be sensitive and discreet in dealing with confidential matters and
materials.
This position may occasionally require weekend
or evening work for events.
In addition, preferred requirements include:
Strongest preference will be provided to
applicants with an undergraduate degree from Stanford and/or familiarity with
Stanford's baccalaureate's curriculum, with an eye to enhancing current
programs on Stanford's campus.
Experience
with social media tools and strategies strongly preferred.
Experience with event logistics, and
implementation preferred.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task while maintaining a flexible
attitude preferred.

for Undergraduate Education (VPUE)
For undergraduates, VPUE is the nexus for programs and initiatives that
