MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience or a combination of relevant education and relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Independently execute registration software programming for associated program with minimal support. 
      Demonstrated ability to provide a high standard of customer service.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Highly organized and superb attention to detail.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
    • Ability to coordinate daily activities including work scheduling, quality assurance, monitoring of activities, and supervision of personnel.
    • Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
    • In-depth knowledge of current and emerging trends in fitness programming. 
    • Ability to learn compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations.

Certifications and Licenses:

    • Nationally recognized personal training certification and/or group fitness certification preferred. 
    • Current CPR, AED and First Aid certification preferred. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Rarely lift/carry/push/pull objects up to 20 lbs.    
    • Frequently perform desk-based computer tasks.
    • Frequently stand/walk, sitting, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
    • Occasionally use a telephone.

WORKING CONDITIONS

    • May travel on campus to schools/units.

This is a one-year fixed term position. The expected pay for this position is $65,000-$75,000 per annum. The actual pay will be pro-rated based on the 50% FTE. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
