To be successful in this position, you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience
- Polished written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences.
- Ability to productively contribute to cross-functional teams.
- Depth of knowledge in technical discipline/domain needed to deliver projects.
- Demonstrated project management ability to employ integration, scope time management, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement components.
In addition, preferred requirements include:
- Functional experience in financial analysis, operations, program management, or customer service.
- Experience in Oracle or other financial systems.
- Experience in financial services, financial aid, and higher education.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a computer related major
- Demonstrated experience in management of projects, including project planning, scheduling, tracking, budgeting, and working with third party vendors.
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate internal and external audiences. Ability to take verbal instructions and write out task aids.
- Strong analytical skills to review and assess complex financial information; experience in building and maintaining spreadsheets.
- Proficiency in database technology, reporting tools such as Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and Google G Suite
- Quick learner and self-starter with an appetite to learn new systems and enhance existing work processes
- Ability to apply basic accounting skills with a keen eye for auditing and cross-checking
- Comfort with technology and data management.
- Strong interpersonal skill set which includes active listening, ability to relate with users, knowing your audience, flexibility, negotiation, and proactive problem solving.
