EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance and/or Accounting. 3 to 5 years in experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications including creating pivot tables and advanced formulas (logic statements, lookups, sumifs).
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial and accounting ERP systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team environment.
- Ability to sort through complex and sometimes large sets of data and decipher detail information and summarize information for leadership.
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a professional and discreet manner.
- Internet and computer literacy.
- Knowledge of understanding GAAP.
- Strong communication skills, including ability to prepare materials for and clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences and client groups.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of BI reporting tools such as Tableau, Tableau Prep
- Experience with Oracle BI and Peoplesoft
- Knowledge of fund accounting principles in higher-education setting.

This remote role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures. The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate. The expected pay range for this position is $84,000 to $115,000 per annum.
