MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. College education and two years’ relevant work experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Basic computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.
• Ability to follow through and complete assigned tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of copiers, printers, A/V equipment, and postage meters

Certifications and Licenses:
• Must possess and maintain a valid California Non-commercial Driver's License.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
• Frequently stand/walk, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 20 pounds
• Occasionally perform desk-based computer tasks, use a telephone, writing by hand, climb (ladders, scaffolds, or other), twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh >40 pounds, use small hand tools (some electrical) such as a hammer, drill, screw driver, and level.
• Rarely; kneel/crawl, grasp forcefully
• Ability to obtain and maintain a California Non-commercial Class Driver's license and drive day or night.

The expected pay range for this position is $21.63 - $32.21 per hour. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
WORK CONDITIONS
• May be exposed to extreme hot and cold temperatures, be exposed to high voltage electricity, radiation or electromagnetic fields, lasers, noise > 80dB TWA, allergens/biohazards/chemicals /asbestos, or heavy metals or work on roofs at heights greater than 10 ft.
• May drive vehicle day and night.
• Must wear personal protective equipment as defined/required by job assignments.
• Requires occasional evening and weekend hours.
WORK STANDARDS:
• Must comply with the California Vehicle Code and Stanford University requirements when operating university-owned vehicles.
