MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree and three years related, demonstrated facilities management experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience. Demonstrated technology experience preferred.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Analytical skills to analyze and track complex space, equipment, and financial data.
  • Interpersonal skills, sound judgment required to interact effectively with a broad range of people, including senior leadership and vendors, both individually and in groups.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using advanced functions of Outlook, Excel, Google Drive and Google Sheets, and asset management systems (such as Asset Panda). Experience using Stanford’s information systems such as Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) is a plus but not required.
  • Experience working with internal and external vendors.
  • Ability to remain calm and flexible in the face of multiple priorities, and the demands of servicing a large client base.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly understand and recall information about projects to which they are assigned.
  • Desire to take the initiative in developing protocols and processes and to share with staff as appropriate – both proactively and in response to problem areas.
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team.
  • Background knowledge of emergency preparedness plans and their implementation
  • Property administration knowledge specific to PO tracking, receiving, and inventory control.

 

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Valid California Non-commercial Driver's License.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

  • Frequently stand/walk, seated, performs desk-based computer tasks.
  • Occasionally climb ladders, twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, use a telephone, writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasionally kneel/crawl, grasp forcefully, sort/file paperwork, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh >40 pounds.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a California Non-commercial Class license and drive day or night.

  • May work extended hours or weekends.
