To be successful in this role, you will have:

Bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience; demonstrated extensive experience supporting the initiatives, operations, and daily activities for an executive level position, preferably in higher education/collegiate athletics. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people. Successful track record of engaging with diverse audiences while being discreet, courteous, and diplomatic. Demonstrated ability to cultivate positive working relationships and gain the trust and respect of all levels of internal and external constituencies.
  • Experience with high-level decision-making, planning, organizing, monitoring, prioritization, and collaborating.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills and ability to create communications that are thorough, helpful, and reinforce DAPER's mission.
  • Experience conducting research, analyzing results, and report writing.
  • Ability to  exercise good judgement and discretion analyzing and resolving confidential, difficulty, and sensitive information.
  • Experience creating, reviewing, and developing documents, presentations, and materials.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team to contribute to team objectives.  Can establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers, staff, coaches, and administrators.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and tolerate interruptions.
  • Demonstrated ability using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to master new IT tools, resources, and databases.

The expected pay range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per annum.

Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
