To be successful in this position you will bring:
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Demonstrated success managing event teams and planning, developing budgets, and meeting budget goals.
• Excellent project management skills, and the ability to manage complex timelines and multiple projects.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and customer service skills. Must be well organized and detail oriented.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to cultivate partnerships.
• Demonstrated high level of confidence in making strategic decisions, good judgment, and innovative and creative problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, knowledge of cloud applications such as Google Docs and Forms.
• Ability to interact and successfully collaborate with a broad spectrum of contributing groups and customers
In addition, preferred requirements include:
• Experience in long-term event design and planning, and creating a strategic events calendar in line with the organization’s mission and brand.
• Eye for layout and design of programs and other collateral, and experience working with external creative teams/contractors.
• Experience with Wordpress, Mailchimp, InDesign, and SalesForce.
• Ability to work under deadlines with minimal guidance.
• Demonstrated ability to complete detailed work accurately.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with online analytics and trends.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including scholars, industry leaders, students and staff.
• Knowledge of and experience in the philanthropy/social sector.
• Experience marketing events on social media.
• Experience in a professional academic setting.
The expected pay range for this position is $72,000 to $91,000 per annum.
