MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:
  • Associate degree and two years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Work experience in a fast-paced professional office environment preferred. 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of supporting high profile academic or corporate events (100-300 attendees) 
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and handle numerous time-sensitive projects with multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated yet be flexible in performing a wide range of tasks as a part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability in problem solving, taking initiative, judgment, and decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and customer services skills. Must be well organized and detail oriented. 
  • Proven ability to work as a part of a fast-paced team with and energetic focus.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay graceful under pressure.
  • Ability to staff occasional evening and weekend events: willing and able to lift 35 pounds.
  • Ability to interact with a broad spectrum of constituents. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and other online documents, such as Google Docs, Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with Stanford systems a plus.

Certifications and Licenses:
  •  Valid Non-Commercial Class California Driver's License. 
WORKING CONDITIONS:
