MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
 
  • Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline, or another degree field with relevant experience.
  • Five years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Operational experience in power generation, district energy, or related field.
  • Data and/or market analysis in the operation or management of electrical load and generation assets. 
 

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Proven ability to synthesize information from disparate sources to draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to contribute to or lead part of a multi-functional team.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships and work seamlessly with organizational staff, vendors and contractors to execute projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with all audiences, including those with technical and non-technical backgrounds, both verbally and in writing.
 

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Operations experience in power generation, district energy system, oil and gas, chemical manufacturing, or other environment with critical operations and high uptime requirements.
  • Proficiency in advanced analytical tools and programming language such as Python, Java, R, or similar language.
  • Proficiency in advanced data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, Plotly, etc.
  • Experience with enterprise data historians.
  • Enrollment or management of utility demand response programs and/or capacity bidding programs.
  • Experience with direct access electricity, renewable energy, and/or electrical storage system portfolios.
  • Knowledge of environmental and safety rules, regulations, and policies associated with power generation or other industrial facilities.
