What You’ll Bring:

We are seeking someone who is creative, highly collaborative, comfortable with iteration and ambiguity, and willing to work on a team.  The Elementary Program Manager has the skills of project management, curriculum design and evaluation, and communication to work with multiple stakeholders.  This person is also skilled in designing and creating culturally-responsive professional learning experiences for K-5.  As a program manager, the ideal candidate will be able to identify and think through necessary steps of a project, set deadlines, recruit consultants, and hold self and others accountable to outcomes and deadlines.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Preferred Education & Experience:

Advanced degree and at least three years of K-5 teaching

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to develop program partnerships and funding sources.
• Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in area of specialization.
• Ability to oversee and direct staff.
• Basic knowledge of managing budgets and developing financial plans.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Prior experience in the following areas:
• Designing and implementing research-based instructional interventions
• Professional learning experiences for instructional leaders and coaches
• International teaching experience
• Launching an international school in a fast-paced environment
• Developing curriculum
• Designing and implementing high-quality teacher professional learning experiences
• A highly collaborative and flexible approach to the work
• Advanced computer skills with a working knowledge of applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google platform.

Location:

The location of the job is flexible and can be done remotely. Must be willing to travel to China as needed for the work and as aligned with Stanford Travel policies.
