MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree and eight years of relevant
experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities:
- Must be smart, highly
resourceful and quick learner.
Highly motivated.
- Strong Oracle Database
Administration skills. Strong
backup and recovery skills.
Demonstrated ability to clone large databases from any kind of
source.
- Strong UNIX skills. Strong Bash and/or Perl scripting
preferred. UNIX Admin background
preferred.
- Admin skills in OBIEE/Fusion
Middleware and/or Informatica Powercenter and/or Tableau.
- Admin skills in Apache/Tomcat
in UNIX.
- Weblogic Administration
experience preferred.
- AWS/Cloud skills preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in the
support requirements of large database applications/systems including
performance analysis and tuning of high volume, transaction systems on an
Oracle/UNIX environment.
- Knowledge of hierarchical
database systems.
- Extensive knowledge of systems
platform.
- Extensive knowledge and
experience in the design and implementation of complex database
architecture.
- Extensive experience in
programming environments.
- Ability to develop a vision for
future computing needs and to develop appropriate plans to meet these
needs.
- Ability to work well
independently or as a team member.
- Ability to maintain knowledge
of new and current technology and trends.
- Ability to collaborate with
vendors and system service providers, provide administration for system
solutions, and act as a liaison.
- Extensive experience with
database security protocol.
Other Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated programming
ability for tool building or solving complex problems is a plus.
- Oracle DBA OCP is a plus.
- UNIX Administration
certification is a plus
- Technical certifications in
OBIEE, Fusion Middleware,
Informatica, Tableau is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Constantly perform desk-based
computer tasks.
