DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree preferred or Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience. Educational background in biosciences heavily preferred.
- Previous experience in program coordination, postdoctoral administration, student services, or related field with focus on postdoctoral scholars and/or graduate students
- Knowledge of Stanford administration systems preferred
- Detailed knowledge of the range of challenges that postdocs and/or graduate students encounter; strong ability to identify needs and help provide for those needs
- Strong communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences, client groups, and management
- Advanced analysis and problem-solving skills
- Advanced customer service skills
- Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced project management skills
- Marketing, social media and event planning experience
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
- Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently stand/walk, sitting, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
- Occasionally use a telephone.
- Rarely lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.
