Qualifications
- To be successful in this position, we will be looking for:
- A Bachelor’s degree and seven years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Emphasis in computer science, management information systems, or related field of study preferred.
- Forward thinker with leadership, supervisory, planning and change management skills.
- Effective oral, written and presentation skills to communicate, establish constructive working relationships, persuade and influence decision-making, paired with active listening skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.
- Strong commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse population.
In addition, our preferred requirements include:
- Experience managing and evolving ServiceNow or other enterprise-wide platform, including managing vendor relationships.
- 10 years’ experience in an IT organization, with at least five years of experience as a senior program, product or service manager.
- Experienced in in a complex, decentralized higher education or non-profit environment.
- Strongly oriented toward collaboration with and through others, at all levels in the organization.
- Understand the ITIL framework and how it aligns with and complements other frameworks such as Agile or other project management approaches.
- Leads with an innovative and continuous improvement mindset; able to call on business sense and creativity to develop new ideas and solutions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently sitting.
- Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, use a telephone, writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds;
- Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
