Education & Experience (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree and five of relevant experience in administrative and financial management, or combination of education and relevant experience.

- Excellent communication skills, especially in translation between the technical details of Stanford policies and the highly varied, diverse, and interdisciplinary / cross-sector members of the d.school staff, faculty, and lecturer community.
- Expertise in working with diverse groups and proven ability to create systems, processes and communication that foreground equity & inclusion.
- Ability to develop business plans and infrastructure to support public programs and teaching. Provide analysis and review of multi-year plans, including providing alternative methods for achieving goals when necessary.
- Work experience and demonstrated track record in practice will be weighted more than educational credentials in a specific field.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Frequently sitting.
- Occasionally stand/walk, writing by hand, use a telephone, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.
- Rarely sort/file paperwork or parts, rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat.
