To be successful in this position:
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience in administrative and financial management, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, including conflict resolution.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Advanced financial expertise in accounting, budget planning and financial forecasting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage administrative, technical, financial, and operational needs of a multinational organization.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and plan for tax, legal, financial, and HR/employment related considerations required to facilitate global initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and manage the budgetary implications of currency fluctuations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines.
In addition, preferred qualifications include:
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity with the ability to bridge the behaviors and needs of other countries with the legal and financial needs of the U.S.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and policies, especially related to international contracts and special payments.
