To be successful in this position you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree and seven years of relevant experience, preferably in an educational institution or nonprofit or a combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated fundraising experience, sensitivity, and diplomacy with proven experience in securing major gifts.

  • Experience developing, planning and implementing comprehensive fundraising plans.

  • Excellent judgment, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to lead and motivate others and earn the respect of associates at all levels.

  • Proven ability to meet fundraising goals

  • A strong track record in managing and balancing donor relationships.

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.

  • Effective management experience and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated experience engaging and motivating groups of diverse individuals, including strong volunteer management skills.

  • Specific to this role at the Cantor Arts Center is a commitment to the advancement of the arts.  Demonstrated experience in arts fundraising is welcome.
