To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A bachelor’s degree and eight years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience in employer relations and/or college recruiting in one of the following areas: Social Impact, Arts/Media and Entertainment, Start-ups and Entrepreneurship, STEM, Business, and Healthcare.
- Proven record in leading and developing cohesive teams, managing performance and productivity, strategic planning, and contributing to organizational leadership.
- Knowledge and embodiment of diversity and inclusion best practices. Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and groups from various identities, cultures, and backgrounds
- Entrepreneurial, creative, and innovative spirit; comfort with change, ambiguity, and risk in a fast pace environment
- Strong communication skills to clearly and effectively communicate information to internal and external audiences, client groups, and management
- Self-awareness, in terms of understanding one’s own culture, identity, biases, prejudices, power, privilege and stereotypes
- Strong leadership and strategic management skills
- Awareness of generational differences in work styles
- Knowledge of trends in internships, employment, economy, effective interventions, technology, and industry networks.
- Knowledge of employment resources and publications
- Advanced computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Box, and Google Drive;
- Advanced customer service skills
- Relevant computer systems/technology experience
- Understanding of financial transactions
- Ability to ensure and apply compliance with legal, financial, and university policies and external regulations.
- Demonstrates willingness to challenge and change institutional practices that present barriers to different groups.
In addition, preferred requirements include:
- Experience in higher education setting.
- Master’s degree in Education, Business, or related field.
Working Conditions:
- Frequently sit, perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Occasionally stand, walk, twist, use fine manipulation, grasp, use a telephone, write by hand, sort and file paperwork, lift, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
