To be successful in this position, you will bring:

  • Advanced degree and five years of relevant experience in area of specialization or combination of relevant education, training, and/or experience.
  • Research experience related to the Lab’s interests at a level that the candidate can communicate fluently about the Lab’s research with internal and external constituents, as well as a desire and willingness to learn about research where the candidate lacks experience.
  • Experience developing program partnerships and funding sources.
  • Advanced oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in area of specialization.
  • Ability to oversee and direct staff.
  • Exceptional organizational and hands-on project management skills in order to manage many research projects running in parallel.
  • Ability to manage budgets and develop financial plans.
