To be successful in this position, you will bring:
Education and Experience
- Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred.
- The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience related to the administration of sports and recreation with a knowledge base of student development.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrated passion for sports
- Advanced knowledge of student training and development strategies.
- Familiarity with sport governing bodies and/or best practices for collegiate intramurals
- Knowledge of current risk management practices in recreation settings.
- Initiative and ownership of projects.
- Prior experience leading the work of others.
Certifications and Licenses
- CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
