To be successful in this position, you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of related experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
- Comfort with writing for print, web, and other platforms. Writing samples are required.
- Some professional writing, editing, proofreading, and interviewing experience, including both long- and short-form content.
- The ability to understand and synthesize complex material across multiple sources to produce collateral for diverse audiences.
- Client service orientation with the ability to interact with a wide range of people at different levels of an organization.
- A commitment to promoting and supporting an environment of diversity and inclusion.
- Microsoft Office Suite skills.
In addition, preferred requirements include:
- A background and/or interest in medical, science, or development writing
This role will have a hybrid schedule, with your primary work location at our Redwood City, CA offices and the option to telecommute two to three days per week. Occasional event staffing may be required (evenings and weekends). This role may also be open to a full-time remote schedule, for candidates who reside outside the greater Bay Area, with occasional business travel to our Redwood City offices.
