Minimum education and experience requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree (in fields of Education Data Science or related discipline) or a combination of three years of education and relevant experience.
- Substantial experience using and applying analytical software, database management system software, and data mining software.
- Exceptional Interpersonal skills. Communicate with our partners in government, school districts, agencies, and industry representatives.
- Ability to manage multiple activities in a deadline-oriented environment; highly organized, flexible and rigorous attention to detail.
Desirable qualifications include:
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with research approaches and quantitative modeling.
- Fluency in Python and/or R, or fluency in other scripting languages and experience in debugging them.
- Fluency is Stata, SPSS
- Experience with data extraction tools (SQL/NoSQL/Python) queries to answer research and analysis questions.
- Experience with high performance/systems (HPC) languages and techniques.
- Familiarity with academic research methodologies and protocols
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team on multiple concurrent projects. Must be able to identify priorities and maintain awareness of multiple deadlines.
- To be independent, proactive, and have initiative.

The expected pay range for this position is $86,000 to $115,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
