We are looking for an energetic and talented learning program specialist to Join Our Team!

As a Creative Learning Program Specialist, you will play an exciting and critical role in helping our team plan, develop and deliver engaging technical training sessions.  You will work with internal and external partners to help design, develop and promote our training programs.  You will have a great opportunity to employ your creativity to develop visually appealing illustrations, animations, GIFs, videos, and engaging graphics. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, self-starter who enjoys learning and has a strong passion for education and training. This is a full-time position based in Palo Alto, CA.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Provide creative ideas, illustrations, and graphic designs for instructional presentations for a variety of technical training programs covering a wide range of software and technical applications.
  2. Review program content, descriptions, and training curricula and make recommendations as required to enhance instructional visuals and objectives.
  3. Select and utilize graphic and visual asset libraries to effectively communicate desired learning goals.
  4. Assist in developing PowerPoint presentations, training aids, handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
  5. Perform administrative functions as required to conduct, manage and document training programs and operations.
  6. Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional materials for training and professional development programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Assist in analyzing and assessing training and development needs for individuals, communities, and/or university departments.
  8. Review instructor presentations and recommend improvements to program content and/or instructor presentation methods


Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in visual arts or another creative field and three years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Sample portfolio of prior work.
  • Cover letter describing why you are interested in this position.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite Applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and In design.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to administer and manage training operations.
  • Ability to plan, organize, schedule and manage projects.
  • Ability to prepare instructional aids and handouts.
