Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and eight years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Qualifications
- Over 5 years related experience developing, installing, and maintaining commercial building automation systems.
- Over 5 years experience managing Tridium Niagara based controls projects. N4 certification is preferred.
- Experience coordinating efforts across multiple departments and organizations. Experience engaging and managing subcontractors.
- Experience working within the Higher Ed market or within similar campus type environments preferred. Experience with laboratories and critical spaces is a plus.
- Subject matter expertise with common DDC communication protocols and network configurations.
- Experience working with multiple commercial building DDC system platforms (i.e. JCI, Siemens, Honeywell, ALC, etc.). Advanced experience with Distech and Niagara required.
- Expert knowledge of commercial building HVAC processes and systems
- Familiar with modern building analytic systems (like FDD).
- Experienced user of MS Office Suite.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experienced with preparing and delivering formal presentations. Experience producing high quality project reports, requests for proposals, and professional correspondences.
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Professional Engineer or CPM certification is a plus
Physical Requirements *:
- Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
- Frequently sitting.
- Occasionally stand/walk, twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
- Rarely kneel/crawl, climb (ladders, scaffolds, or other, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 21>40 pounds.

Working Conditions:
- Exposed to high voltage electricity, noise >80dB TWA, confined spaces, hot temperatures, heavy metals.
