MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree plus two years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

 
Desired Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of editing on Premiere / Adobe Creative Cloud (Junior to Senior video editor)
  • 1 + years of working within a VCMS
  • Managing large volumes of video asset content and quality control.  
  • Scheduling encodes on multiple capture systems.
  • Publishing videos to different platforms.
  • Basic understanding of how video servers work.
  • Flexibility to adapt well to changing schedules, priorities and staff, faculty or student requests.
  • Technical experience using digital media equipment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, mature judgment, and diplomacy required to interact effectively with and provide customer service to a broad audience.
  • Excellent time management, communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Authentication procedures including registering new user and guest accounts, and enabling access to secure online course content.
 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Current knowledge of the latest software and design standards.
  • Ability to define and solve logical problems for technical applications.
  • Knowledge of and ability to select, adapt and effectively use a variety of programming methods.
  • Ability to plan, design, develop, and evaluate engaging multimedia learning/training objects.
  • Knowledge of instructional design methodologies, pedagogical issues, and best practices for classroom, online and hybrid learning.
  • Strong knowledge of learning management systems and various classroom and online learning technologies.
  • Ability to recognize and recommend necessary changes in user and/or operations procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of software engineering principles.
