Qualifications
- Qualifications for this position include a minimum of five years
- Construction Superintendent with experience in Carpentry, Concrete Structures, Steel Structures, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, exterior envelope waterproofing, interior finishes, utilities, and civil work.
- Construction management degree, ICC inspector Certification, Special Inspection Certification are a plus. Strong field experience and familiarity with a variety of building types and the California Building Codes.
- The possession of an OSHPD license is highly advantageous or the demonstration of the willingness and the ability to obtain one within the first 12 months of hire.
- The candidate must possess effective communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to interact effectively at all levels with a variety of groups/persons, including end users, City, County and State Building Officials, General Contractors, Architects, consultants, etc. The candidate will be an independent, self-starter and will demonstrate the ability to take initiative.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field with minimum ten years’ experience in construction superintendence or management, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
