To be successful in this position, you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience
- Experience in a large, complex organization with a decentralized structure preferred
- Strong project management and change management experience, preferably in a decentralized organization
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience as compensation consultant or advisor to leaders and managers
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
- Proven communication (verbal and written) skills to prepare clear and concise information and deliver formal presentations or training to senior management and other audiences
- Strong relationship building skills
- Experience with salary survey participation, market analysis, job evaluation, and compensation plan design and administration
- Demonstrated knowledge of compensation practices and trends with expertise in job evaluation market analysis
- Strong understanding and experience in applying federal and California state and federal wage and hour regulations
- Advanced analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, judgment and decision-making competencies
- Demonstrated advanced influencing skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically, Word and Excel, and project management principals and tools
Physical Requirements
- Frequently sit, stand, perform desk-based computer tasks, grasp lightly/fine manipulation
- Occasionally work at Stanford main campus
We are open to a hybrid work arrangement (a combination of onsite and work from home). The number of days may occasionally fluctuate subject to business need, but the expectation is that this position will be onsite a minimum of 2 days/week. The onsite work location is Stanford Redwood City Campus, 505 Broadway, Redwood City, California.
