DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Certified Compensation Professional preferred.

PHR certification

Experience in developing compensation marketing tools and classification resources for hiring managers.

Experience as an HR Business Partner

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):

 

Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):

  • Demonstrated experience with salary survey participation, market analysis, job evaluation, and base pay compensation plan design and administration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically, Word and Excel.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and computational/statistical skills.
  • Effective communication (verbal and written), consultation, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of compensation practices and trends.
  • Working knowledge of and/or experience in applying federal and California state and federal wage and hour regulations.
  • Frequently stand/walk, sit; frequently use a perform desk based computer tasks, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
  • Occasionally use a telephone, write by hand, sort/file paperwork, twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, grasp forcefully, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
  • Rarely kneel/crawl.
