DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The CER Manager must be experienced in managing programs and coordinating with diverse partners from multidisciplinary fields. They should have a background in health-related fields, including public health or health policy. Successful candidates will be skilled in interacting with faculty, staff, administrative leaders, trainees, and community partners and in working independently to help lead programs with direction from the Director of CER.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor's degree and three or more years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience. Advanced degree such a masters’ degree is beneficial. Experience managing a budget and developing financial plans is valuable.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
- Ability to develop and coordinate program partnerships and funding sources.
- Superb attention to details.
- Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting fluency in area of specialization.
- Ability to oversee and direct staff.
- Basic knowledge of managing budgets and developing financial plans.
- Experience working with community organizations and public agencies is desired.
- Diverse background and lived experiences also highly valued.
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:
- For teaching jobs, advanced degree or certification may be required for some programs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Frequently stand/walk, sitting, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, perform desk-based computer tasks.
- Occasionally use a telephone, writing by hand, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds.
- Rarely sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh >40 pounds.
- Ability to use voice to present information/communicate with others.
- On-campus mobility.
