Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and minimum two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience, required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Previous experience in public relations, writing, proofreading, and conceptual editing
  • Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal communications groups across campus
  • Experience with managing moderately complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of communications and public relations across channels including digital and print.
  • Familiar with market research and data analysis.
  • Creative problem solver.
  • Excellent oral and written skills.
  • Excellent computer skills are required. Candidates should be proficient with: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); email programs.
  • Candidates should be familiar with and comfortable using Adobe Photoshop; basic HTML; and social media platforms.

  • Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Frequently stand/walk, sit, use a telephone, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, speaking
