Minimum Education & Experience Required:
- Youʼre a well-rounded, critical thinker with a bachelorʼs degree (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of five years of experience as a contributing member of an enterprise-oriented technology team that had a primary responsibility of securing data in the cloud.
Bonus Points & Plusses:
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, particularly NIST.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
- Past work as a devops engineer, CI/CD fluency.
- CISSP or other professional cybersecurity certifications.
- Prior work in a highly-regulated industry or higher education.
When Stanford Work Location:
The expected pay range for this position is $156,000 – 190,000 per annum.

Remote Work
This position is eligible for permanently remote work, but keep the following in mind: our team operates on Pacific Time, and we adjust salary based on regions of the country. You may be expected to come to campus, but generally expect that to be no more than a few days each quarter. Weʼll pay for your travel if youʼre outside the greater Bay Area. When Remote:
The expected pay range for this position is $122,000 – 162,000 per annum.
