DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s or doctorate level clinician (social work, marriage & family therapy, psychology, drug and alcohol counseling) and relevant expertise with adolescents and/or young adults.
- Experience in clinical healthcare workforce development
- Experience in the management of direct service provision to young people, including youth of vulnerable and/or underserved populations, and implementing mental health services or programs.
- Demonstrated capacity to advise on leadership and management processes, including multidisciplinary and/or cross sector initiatives, and partnerships with a wide range of professionals, organizations and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of clinical governance systems and continuous quality improvement processes, including the utilization of data systems, the development and implementation of policies and procedures, and the use of evaluation and risk management tools.
- Detailed understanding of the California health care system, particularly the areas of behavioral health and primary care, including the range of professionals and organizations that work within or in close proximity with the sector.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
