To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in strategic finance and leadership roles. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related field or a combination of education and relevant experience.  Master's degree preferred. 
  • Experience leading large multi-functional teams including financial, IT, administrative, and customer-facing teams.
  • Proven performance as a strategic and innovative thinker who plans and makes decisions within the framework of long-term desired strategic outcomes and short-term objectives.
  • Highly inclusive management style, with the ability to foster partnerships, build relationships, work collaboratively across boundaries, and achieve performance and results through others towards clearly established goals.
  • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to inspire and motivate. Comfortable playing a leading role in substantive strategy planning meetings at the board and executive management levels.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills; able to present information clearly and effectively to internal and external audiences, client groups and all levels of management. 
  • Successful experience with organizational development and staff development, and a proven ability to create and manage change.
  • Broad subject matter expertise in all aspects of CFO-type responsibilities including financial planning, management, reporting and controls, strategic planning, and project management. Demonstrated ability to apply financial and analytical skills based on a firm understanding of the organization’s mission, strategy, and operating principles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work and interact effectively with a broad range of individuals representing a diverse set of skills, experiences, and perspectives and the ability to build coalitions and inter-functional teams to leverage synergistic relationships.
  • Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. 
  • Positive, can-do attitude. The ultimate team player who leads by example. High energy; flexible and patient; humble; approachable and creative.
  • Highly ethical; impeccable personal and professional integrity. Demonstrates integrity and honesty in decision making and in relationships.
