Qualifications:

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree and ten years of relevant audit, compliance or other relevant experience in higher education, health care, research-based non-profit organizations, or government contracting.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Demonstrated strategic leadership, planning and change management skills. Ability to lead and motivate others and earn the respect of associates at all levels.
Highly effective written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Proven presentation experience and comfort with senior management audiences and effective facilitation skills with diverse groups.
Excellent strategic skills to craft and help implement organizational strategies and plans for campus-wide initiatives.
Exceptional interpersonal skills. Able to influence people, solve problems, trouble shoot, think creatively, and resolve conflicts.
Significant experience in assessing compliance risks in a large research university or other complex environment. Working knowledge of OMB Uniform Guidance. Familiarity with the Federal Sentencing Guidelines criteria for effective compliance and ethics programs.

Desired: Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, JD), and additional professional certifications (e.g., CFE). Leadership positions within the compliance, ethics, or internal auditing profession.
