Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Experience in a quantitative discipline such as economics, finance, statistics or engineering
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Three to five years of experience in enterprise data management and delivery (preferably financial data) or providing consultation to organizations that are similar to Stanford in size and complexity
- Strong analytical capabilities, strategic thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Extensive experience eliciting, interpreting, and documenting business requirements preferably in the context of Bl or reporting initiatives.
- Prior success in positions requiring indirect leadership and high levels of self-directed work.
- Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to lead workstreams on systems and reporting projects to completion and ensure high quality deliverables.
- Proven experience in facilitating large and diverse groups.
- Demonstrated experience with Business Intelligence tools.
- Proven experience in designing and/or delivering interactive reporting solutions that meet the needs of diverse sets of stakeholders.
- Expertise in MS Excel and extensive use of its advanced analytical capabilities including pivot tables and lookup and reference formulas.
- Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Analysis/Answers or other BI tools preferred.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite is a plus.
- Previous higher education and Stanford University experience preferred.
