Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and seven years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Experience in a quantitative discipline such as computer science, accounting, operations, finance, statistics or engineering.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in SQL queries and working knowledge of query tools (Toad, SQL Plus, Golden6 etc.)Subject matter expertise for the procure-to-pay business area
- Expertise in computer system capabilities, business processes and workflow
- Expertise in business and management computer applications and databases
- Ability to understand and apply the software development lifecycle and project management techniques.
- Experience with procure-to-pay process and functions including spend, contract and vendor management programs
IN ADDITION, PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
- Experience working in a University environment
- Knowledge and understanding of university operations, administration, community and mission
- Substantial experience in business architecture & strategic planning for systems
- Experience utilizing business architecture to inform studies/migrations to newer technologies such as Cloud
- Experience working in multiple SDLC frameworks (Agile, Waterfall)
- Process modeling experience and knowledge of process tools
- Experienced with Oracle Financial systems (release 12+), specifically with Procurement modules a plus
