               QUALIFICATIONS
  •  KNOWLEDGEThe successful applicant must have a PhD, MD, MD/PhD or equivalent with prior relevant training and coursework in nanotechnology, biomaterial, or biomedical engeneering. Experience in grant and paper writing is a necessary requirement. They will be in a leadership position in the lab, helping manage and coordinate research and experiments and helping on the different projects that are currently ongoing in the lab.  Experience in biofabrication and physico-chemical charactherization techniques of scaffold and nanoparticles – made of different biomaterial (i.e. synthetic and natural) - are necessary requirements.   Sterile tissue culture techniques, cell-based imaging and assays (immunohistochemistry, fluorescence microscopy, confocal microscopy, ELISA) and mesenchymal stem cell, pancreatic islets or 3D cell biology experience are also preferred.  He/she should be able to work independently in a dynamic, fast paced team environment and is expected to be organized and highly productive. Successful applicants will also have a track record of productive research, presentations and publication.

 

REQUIRED

  • Excellent command of English 
  • Comprehensive understanding of scientific principles.
  • Expert level knowledge and skills in field of science related to research project
  • General computer skills, experience with databases and scientific applications, and ability to quickly learn and master computer programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent judgment.
  • Ability to maintain detailed records of experiments and outcomes.
  • Ability to work under deadlines with general guidance is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to accurately complete detailed work accurately.
  • Developing project management skills.
